Marcus Johnson — Serving 45 Years
At just 22 years old, Marcus Johnson was sentenced to 45 years for a non-violent drug-related offense tied to mandatory minimum sentencing laws. Now 18 years into his sentence, Marcus has spent nearly two decades separated from his family, missing the chance to raise his daughter and be present for those who depended on him.
During his time inside, Marcus has completed educational programs, mentored younger inmates, and remained committed to personal growth—yet his sentence remains unchanged.
